Job Title:

Director of Health Equity and Transformation

Job Summary:

The University of Kentucky College of Medicine seeks a visionary director to lead the Center for Health Equity and Transformation (CHET). The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research achievement in health equity and a proven ability to inspire and motivate faculty and staff. The director will be responsible for overseeing the research and training portfolio of CHET, promoting an inclusive environment, and facilitating collaborative research and conduct.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for CHET
  • Oversee the research and training portfolio of CHET
  • Promote an inclusive environment for faculty, staff, and trainees
  • Foster collaborative research and conduct
  • Develop and maintain University-wide and external partnerships
  • Manage center resources and space
Requirements:
  • PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in academic or administrative settings
  • Strong research achievement in health equity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • National recognition in academic and professional societies
  • Experience in developing and managing research grants
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate faculty and staff
