The primary goal is to ensure guest satisfaction while effectively leading and inspiring the team to surpass customer expectations and uphold the highest standards of products and services, thereby maximizing profitability through efficient cost and labor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the management and training of the Food & Beverage team, which includes Banquets, Restaurants, Room Service, Culinary, and other relevant areas, while handling special projects, promotions, public relations, and marketing initiatives.
  2. Exhibit exceptional customer service and foster positive relations with both guests and team members.
  3. Maintain superior food and beverage quality standards, service excellence, and marketing strategies to enhance profitability through outstanding customer service.
  4. Ensure consistent adherence to all departmental standards and policies.
  5. Manage food, beverage, payroll, and equipment costs to minimize loss and misuse.
  6. Proactively cultivate positive working relationships through teamwork and effective communication within the hotel environment.
  7. Maintain a constructive relationship with the Union, ensuring all policies and procedures receive Union approval prior to implementation.
  8. Support the development and execution of cost-saving and profit-enhancing strategies within the Food and Beverage sector, aligning with the overall hotel operations.
  9. Consistently contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work and guest environment.
  10. Due to the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry, flexibility in scheduling is required to meet business needs and reporting deadlines.

Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge or a willingness to learn about Food & Beverage operations, including food and beverage management, point of sale systems, cost control, supervisory skills, service techniques, and guest interactions.
  2. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with guests and team members.
  3. Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  5. A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in Food and Beverage is preferred.
