Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze medical records to assign accurate diagnoses and procedure codes
  • Abide by the Standards of Ethical Coding and adhere to official coding guidelines
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient coding practices

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior coding experience in ICD-10-CM diagnoses/procedure coding and HCPCS/CPT procedure coding
  • Certifications: RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or CIRCC
