About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team in Lynchburg, VA. As a key member of our Commercial Sales & Marketing Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit, you will be responsible for leveraging your technical expertise to interface with utility customers and coordinate internal teams to propose innovative solutions and products.

This full-time role requires approximately 25% travel to meet with customers, attend conferences, and meet with manufacturing and global fuel teams. You will have the opportunity to work with a proven team and make a significant impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve a vital role in helping to identify and capture new fuel and related contracts as an integral part of the North American Fuel Sales & Marketing team for PWRs and BWRs.
  • Create a link between fuel engineering, product development, manufacturing, licensing, strategy, sales management, and the customers, as well as being knowledgeable on the technical aspects of Fuel products and solutions.
  • Lead for coordination of technical scope, schedule, and cost inputs for fuel proposals during sales approval process and own the final technical content for bid responses and follow-up with the customer.
  • Possess technical acumen with ability to identify customer needs—both externally and internally.
  • Interface with stakeholders to identify tasks, scope of work, timelines, and estimated costs that ultimately help Framatome win more fuel contracts.
  • Manage multiple interfaces in a team environment with engineering and commercial leadership to facilitate viable pathways to offers.
  • Lead or support development of Market Assessments and Strategy for technical offerings.
  • Ensure Voice of the Customer is accurately accounted for in Product Development.
  • Lead technical meetings with customers on fuel-related topics.
  • Actively participate in fuel contract reviews and negotiations.
