Job Overview

Position Title: Evening Concierge

Reports To: Executive Director or Business Office Administrator

Employment Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

The Evening Concierge is responsible for managing the reception area during assigned hours. This role includes monitoring communication systems, assisting residents and guests, and performing various clerical tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in computer applications and multi-line phone systems is preferred
  • Successful completion of background checks and health screenings as required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain continuous coverage of the reception desk during assigned shifts
  • Coordinate coverage during breaks and meal times
  • Warmly greet visitors and assist them as needed
  • Provide assistance to residents and guests or connect them with the appropriate staff
  • Keep an accurate log of resident and guest interactions
  • Monitor the exit and call systems, responding promptly to emergencies
  • Ensure a tidy and safe reception area
  • Prepare and serve refreshments during meal times
  • Manage incoming mail and direct it appropriately
  • Assist with meal counts and payment processing in dining areas
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the correct personnel
  • Handle clerical tasks as assigned
  • Report maintenance issues and assist when necessary
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and notify management of needs
  • Represent the community in a friendly and professional manner
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
