Position Summary:
Triangle, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Assistant Site Supervisor to join our team in the Broadway Malden area. The ideal candidate will lead a team focused on providing essential support, motivation, and opportunities for individuals with disabilities to reach their personal and professional aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee staff to implement community-based activities aligned with our Community Based Day Supports and Employment Supports frameworks.
- Directly supervise Career Advancement Specialists, ensuring accurate billing, job coaching, and development of employment leads; reassign staff as necessary to enhance support services.
- Develop, manage, and verify weekly schedules, ensuring effective distribution and execution.
- Foster a safe and empowering environment for participants, emphasizing personal choice.
- Guarantee adequate supervision for participants both in-house and within the community, including during transitions and transportation.
- Assist the Site Supervisor in executing contracting and billing procedures for relevant contracts.
- Engage with community organizations to create opportunities for volunteering, internships, employer tours, and various skill-building activities.
- Ensure that 70% of programming and 90% of employment activities are conducted within the community.
- Oversee the training and orientation of new community coordinators and career advancement specialists regarding software systems and program logistics.
- Provide coaching to staff for individualized support and problem-solving for participants and their families.
- Regularly report progress and challenges to the Site Supervisor.
- Maintain appropriate staff-to-participant ratios and provide direct care support as needed.
- Conduct regular check-ins with career advancement specialists and transportation staff.
- Participate in agency-wide committees and initiatives as assigned.
- Manage transportation contracts and staff personnel effectively.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Weekly Duties:
- Attend necessary meetings or training sessions.
- Ensure the site is maintained in a clean and presentable condition.
- Review and submit weekly billing reports.
Monthly Duties:
- Identify training and development needs for staff.
- Review contract utilization reports with the Site Supervisor and make adjustments as needed.
- Audit participant charts and documentation to ensure compliance and timeliness.
- Manage petty cash for the Community Based Day Supports/Employment Program.
- Collaborate with the Site Supervisor to create and implement monthly program schedules.
- Audit participant binders and provide feedback.
- Conduct one-on-one supervision with direct reports.
- Represent the site in relevant committees.
- Meet monthly with the Site Supervisor for supervision.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
Quarterly Duties:
- Conduct regular fire drills and document results.
As Needed:
- Support staff in creating a productive and positive work environment.
- Intervene in significant behavioral incidents to ensure safety.
- Report maintenance needs to appropriate parties.
- Assist in the hiring process for new employees.
- Collaborate with the Site Supervisor on potential referrals.
- Support Career Advancement Specialists in securing competitive employment opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Direct care experience is required.
- Case management and supervisory experience is preferred.
- Ability to initiate contact with businesses to create volunteer and employment opportunities.
