Eliot Community Human Services is seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Early Intervention Program.

We provide home and community-based services for children from birth to three years of age who may have or are at risk of having a delay in development.

Our team assesses the child's needs and works with the family to maximize skill acquisition, facilitating optimal growth in cognitive, language, motor, and social development.

The hands-on, family-focused approach to services aims to increase parents' understanding of their child's strengths and needs, and supports parents in learning how to foster their child's growth and development.

The ideal candidate will identify, screen, and evaluate children's performance in areas such as interpersonal communication, speech production, receptive and expressive language, cognitive bases of language acquisition, and augmentative communication modes.

They will plan and implement remediation programs for children with communication disorders, provide transdisciplinary services to families and children, and develop and ensure follow-up to treatment goals in the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) in the home.

Some knowledge of computer software is required, and the ability to provide in-service training to other team members within areas of expertise is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a related field, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Hourly Rate: $60.00 USD, with a 6% increase for bilingual candidates in a needed language.

Computer Software Skills: Some knowledge required.

Administrative Tasks: Advanced level required.
