Job Description

**Clinical Director - Leadership Role**

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Director to lead our clinical operations at Gateway Pediatric Therapy, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical activities of our facilities and territories, ensuring the highest quality of care and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Directly manage all operational and clinical activities related to assigned facilities or territories, including supervising clinical staff and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise, develop, and train clinical staff, including Assistant Clinical Directors, Supervising BCBA's, BCBA's, BCaBA's, Behavior Consultants, and Behavior Technicians, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality services.
  • Clinical Case Management: Supervise all case management of clinical cases within designated facilities or territories, monitoring client supervision, staff support, parent trainings, and other related activities.
  • Client and Staff Support: Assist clients and staff members through challenging situations, including parent concerns, client concerns, and interpersonal concerns with other staff members, in collaboration with other administrative teams as deemed appropriate.
  • Clinical Requirements and Compliance: Maintain clinical requirements for client supervision and management of caseload/assigned billable hours based on guidelines set forth by insurance companies or community mental health organizations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Staff Training and Development: Assist, coordinate, and direct ongoing staff training, as necessary, to ensure staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality services.
  • Client Assessments and Treatment Programs: Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments, design and maintain top-quality treatment programs that align with company policies, procedures, and organizational philosophy/mission.
  • Administrative Support: Coordinate with administrative staff to ensure that company best business practices are met at all times.
  • Clinical Coverage and Coordination: Coordinate clinical coverage for each given facility or territory, updating as needed based on clinician call-outs, PTO, and other related activities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ongoing collaboration with Regional Clinical Director to ensure all needs of a given facility or territory are met, and ongoing monitoring of client progress within territory, including review of treatment plans, client utilization, supervision, and parent training.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance: Maintain client privacy in accordance with all HIPAA regulations and company policies and procedures manual.
  • Performance Evaluations: Prepare and administer performance evaluations to staff, as necessary, in collaboration with Human Resources and Regional Clinical Director.
  • Caseload Planning: Independent caseload planning for assigned facility and/or territory on an ongoing basis to ensure appropriate caseload assignment for Assistant Clinical Directors, Supervising BCBA's, BCBA's, BCaBA's, and Behavior Consultants, collaborating with Regional Clinical Director as needed.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Maintain a flexible schedule throughout the week to support the clinical team and the changing needs of the assigned facility/territory.
Requirements:
  • Certifications and Licenses: Active BCBA certification and LBA licensure.
  • Availability: Open and flexible availability.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience within the ABA field or working with children with developmental disabilities.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment when making decisions, strong leadership, organization, and management skills, great communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with staff and clients, problem-solving skills when resolving administrative issues and conflicts, ability to delegate and supervise tasks as required, and good understanding of budget and resources planning, budgeting, evaluation procedures, and methods.
