Position Overview
JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group is seeking a driven and qualified candidate with relevant experience in hospitality or real estate finance to join our debt capital markets team as an Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist team members in securing listings, marketing, and finalizing real estate finance transactions.
- Independently create presentations, financing memorandums, and various reports.
- Analyze financial data from profit and loss statements for valuation models; input financial data as necessary.
- Conduct debt sizing analyses.
- Oversee the collection of all required due diligence materials for new campaigns.
- Independently perform preliminary asset valuations using various techniques, including discounted cash flow and income capitalization.
- Supervise and review the work of junior analysts.
- Facilitate the closing due diligence process.
- Review legal documents, agreements, licenses, and third-party reports relevant to transactions.
- Engage in limited client-facing communications on a technical level.
- Support all aspects of marketing campaigns, including managing confidentiality agreements and updating CRM software.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in real estate banking and/or commercial mortgage preferred.
- BA/BS Degree in Business Finance, Hotel Administration, or Real Estate Finance.
- Chartered Financial Analyst designation is a plus.
- Demonstrated strong academic performance.
- Experience in the hospitality industry with a focus on finance, accounting, or valuations is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team rapport.
- Capacity to work within formal reporting structures.
- Willingness to work after standard business hours and on weekends as required.
- Proficient in computer applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
