Biomedical Equipment Specialist

Join TRIMEDX, a leading medical equipment service provider, as a Biomedical Senior Technician. In this role, you will guide and direct the clinical equipment program in a single hospital and/or multiple sites, ensuring the highest level of service delivery.
Responsibilities:- Lead a team of technicians in assigned locations, providing guidance and direction to ensure effective service delivery.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of highly complex medical equipment and systems.
- Develop and implement plans to improve service delivery, including scheduling staff schedules, equipment maintenance, and project implementation.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to educate them on the technical integration of medical systems.
- Manage on-call functions and rotations within the database.
- Coach and mentor technicians to improve performance and documentation.
- Monitor service delivery metrics, including service turnaround time, service backlog, and reducing unable to locate devices.
- Develop and implement training programs for junior and mid-level technicians.
- Associates degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military experience or two years of equivalent experience.
- Technical certification such as A+, CBET, CRES, or CLES preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
- Must have CE experience and knowledge and an ability to influence others.
