Civil Engineer

The City of Galt is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Public Works team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing infrastructure projects that enhance the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and public buildings
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, contractors, and community groups, to ensure successful project outcomes
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and other written materials to support project development and implementation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in project delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure development and project management
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of California
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
