Koniag Government Services is in search of a Lead Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to enhance our recruitment team. This is a full-time position within a dynamic environment that supports our network of companies. This role encompasses the entire recruitment lifecycle.

The Lead Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist will be tasked with crafting, refining, and implementing recruitment and sourcing strategies aimed at attracting, developing, and retaining top-tier talent across various sectors. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our Operating Group Presidents and Hiring Managers to ensure a streamlined, value-added recruitment process that effectively addresses our expanding talent needs and supports our business objectives.

You will report directly to the Director of Recruiting and spearhead strategic recruitment and sourcing initiatives for mid to senior-level professionals. In this capacity, you will serve as a vital recruitment partner for diverse teams, engage with business and program leaders, and deliver qualified candidates to fulfill critical organizational roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive sourcing and recruitment support as a full lifecycle recruiter for hiring managers.
  • Implement specialized recruitment initiatives to meet unique hiring demands and enhance candidate pipelines.
  • Build relationships with passive candidates through networking, cold outreach, and extensive online research.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing partnerships with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and efficiently fill open roles.
  • Effectively cultivate talent communities through various channels, including social media platforms.
  • Proactively explore and assess innovative sourcing methods to enhance recruitment strategies.
  • Foster relationships with hiring managers across various sectors, ensuring recruitment aligns with business objectives.
  • Promote operational excellence and compliance while maintaining high recruitment standards.
  • Advocate for diversity strategies to attract a varied workforce.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, specifically within a government contracting environment, including sourcing and recruitment process management.
  • Thorough understanding of a regulated OFCCP environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in recruiting technical professionals.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring cleared personnel within the DoD, Law Enforcement, and Intelligence sectors, with knowledge in technology and management consulting.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of open positions while multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience in developing sourcing plans to identify diverse talent pools, including military veterans.
  • Familiarity with full lifecycle recruiting processes.
  • Ability to identify networking leads for passive candidates through various online resources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of adapting messages to different audiences.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and internet candidate requirements.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and consultative approach in assisting managers.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on execution and achieving results.
  • Methodical in approach, with the ability to develop and implement plans effectively.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with an understanding of stakeholder perceptions.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily office-based, with a low to moderate noise level. The role requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for various tasks. The workload may necessitate prolonged periods of sitting. The incumbent must possess the ability to read, perform basic math calculations, and manage moderate stress levels. Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs may be required. Specific vision capabilities include close and distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
