Position Overview
QinetiQ US is in search of a Senior Acquisition Analyst to assist technical initiatives for a government client. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership and guidance through their knowledge, experience, and ability to effectively manage and oversee ongoing and emerging projects. The candidate will aid in identifying critical warfighter requirements, initiating new initiatives, and providing management and technical expertise in project execution to deliver impactful capabilities to the warfighter efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with Service or Defense Agency Program Offices to leverage existing capabilities in innovative manners and provide expertise in relevant technical fields.
- Guide and support acquisition management of current and future projects, including total cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) with relevant contracting and financial analysts.
- Provide essential support in a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency integrated product team of professional acquisition personnel across various locations.
- Lead the development of acquisition products and materials to support transition and Milestone Decision Authority gates.
- Oversee collaborative creation of requirements and programmatic documents (MOUs, SOWs, Project Outlines, etc.) with Service stakeholders.
- Engage in special projects as required.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI-Eligible - Currently hold an active TS/SCI or have held an SCI and have been debriefed recently.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of program management, operational, and analytical experience.
- Proficient in program management, systems engineering, and possess in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following: (1) Long-range fires; (2) Data science, artificial intelligence, deep learning systems, Autonomous systems; (3) Long-range weapon kill chains; (4) Communications, networking, inter-networking in communications-denied environments; (5) Cybersecurity.
- Skilled in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and/or other equivalent program management tools.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working in a team environment, and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to various locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in acquisition or government program management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Special Access Programs (SAPs).
- Master's degree is preferred.
