Position Overview

QinetiQ US is in search of a Senior Acquisition Analyst to provide support for technical initiatives related to a government client. The ideal candidate will exhibit leadership and guidance through their expertise, experience, and capability to effectively manage and oversee ongoing and emerging projects. The candidate will assist in identifying critical needs of the warfighter, initiate new initiatives, and deliver management and technical expertise in project execution to provide significant capabilities to the warfighter promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with Service or Defense Agency Program Offices to leverage existing capabilities in innovative manners and provide expertise in relevant technical areas.
  • Guide and support acquisition management for current and future projects, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) with relevant contracting and financial analysts.
  • Provide essential support within a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency integrated product team of professional acquisition personnel across various locations.
  • Lead the development of acquisition documentation and materials to support transition and Milestone Decision Authority gates.
  • Oversee collaborative creation of requirements and programmatic documents (MOUs, SOWs, Project Outlines, etc.) with Service stakeholders.
  • Engage in special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI-Eligible - Must currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance or have held an SCI clearance and been debriefed within the last 24 months.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in program management, operational roles, and analytical functions.
  • Proficient in program management, systems engineering, and possess in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following areas: (1) Long-range fires; (2) Data science, artificial intelligence, deep learning systems, Autonomous systems; (3) Long-range weapon kill chains; (4) Communications in denied environments; (5) Cybersecurity.
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and/or other equivalent program management tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, and self-motivated.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to various locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in acquisition or government program management is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Special Access Programs (SAPs).
  • Master's degree is preferred.
