About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Launch Specialist to join our team at Fortune Brands Innovations. As a Product Launch Specialist, you will play a critical role in the development and launch of new products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product introductions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Request for Plant Trial (RPT) process from start to finish, including coordination with operations and support teams.
  • Develop and implement Design/Production Validation Plans (DVP/PVP) to ensure product quality and manufacturability.
  • Coordinate trials with production, scheduling, quality, and product/process engineering teams.
  • Manage RPT inventory and track financials and budget.
  • Lead weekly team meetings to facilitate the RPT process and ensure timely progress.
  • Develop and maintain technical reports to document trial results and lessons learned.
Qualifications
  • High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent; manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work in stressful situations.
  • Interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of TT products and fiberglass door lines and molding operations.
  • Strong MS Excel skills and experience with E-21 or willingness to be trained.
  • Fork truck certification or ability to obtain.
  • Engineering Associate Degree (or in process).
  • Ability to lead small projects and problem-solve.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to mechanical hazards, noise, and vibration. The associate will also work in extreme temperatures, wetness/humidity, and outdoors.

Mathematical Skills

The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills

The ability to run respective inventory systems (Great Plains, E-21, MES, etc.).

Language Skills

The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
