  • Execute deposit and withdrawal transactions in accordance with the bank's established policies and procedures.
  • Handle a variety of banking functions, including but not limited to:
    • Responding to customer inquiries via phone
    • Processing loan payments and treasury tax transactions
    • Managing savings bonds and mail deposits
    • Overseeing safe deposit box operations
    • Facilitating other financial transactions as required
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of retail banking products and services.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by promoting and managing various account products, including checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and IRAs.
  • Participate in cross-training for image capture processes.
  • Contribute to a customer-centric sales culture by supporting organizational values and adhering to bank policies.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED; a college degree or relevant customer service experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and sales skills.
  • Basic mathematical and business knowledge, typically acquired through high school education.
  • Proficiency in typing and calculator use.
  • Exceptional customer relations skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with various banking machines and software, including teller machines, calculators, and applications such as Word and Excel, is essential.
