Job Summary:
As a Lead Food Service Assistant, you will provide guidance to food service personnel in accordance with established quality standards.

Your responsibilities will encompass monitoring and documenting the appropriate temperatures of food, setting up and maintaining a clean and sanitized serving area, preparing and serving food items, restocking food stations, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and processing payments for food and beverages using a computerized register, among other related tasks.


Adherence to Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines for food service is essential. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with patrons and colleagues.

Demonstrating the ability to establish productive working relationships is crucial.


Equipment Operation:
You may be required to operate various equipment, including grills, beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, cash registers, computerized cash registers, steam equipment, dishwashers, telephones, refrigerators, and freezers.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. You should possess the ability to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions, as well as perform basic mathematical calculations. A minimum of two years of experience in food service is preferred, along with previous leadership experience. On-the-job training will be provided. Depending on the location, completion of a Diet Therapy Class and passing of Diet Therapy exams may be required.

Serv Safe certification may also be necessary within a designated timeframe, typically one year.
