### Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Power Engineer to join our team at Utility Technology Engineers. As a key member of our design engineering team, you will be responsible for leading electrical design projects from conceptualization to completion.
### Key Responsibilities
* Lead team members on electrical design projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project scope and budget
* Develop and implement electrical design solutions for power substations, transmission lines, distribution lines, and other electrical infrastructure
* Conduct system studies, including short circuit, arc flash, protective coordination, load flow, cost of service, rate, and economic feasibility
* Collaborate with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors to ensure effective communication and project success
* Prepare electrical packaged equipment specifications and data sheets, Request for Qualifications (RFQ's), technical bid evaluations, and purchase recommendations
* Review electrical equipment, vendor drawings, and data to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
* Interface with suppliers, clients, other engineering disciplines, detailers, and designers to ensure seamless project execution
* Participate in project schedule development, scope, budget staffing, and construction planning
* Manage change orders and ensure timely resolution of design-related installation issues
* Apply expert knowledge of electrical concepts, practices, codes, and procedures to ensure high-quality project deliverables
* Conduct quality reviews of production drawings, calculations, and specifications
* Oversee construction administration, including coordination with field personnel to resolve design-related installation issues, calculations, field inspections, and testing of electrical systems
### Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
* Minimum five years of experience in power engineering environment
* Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, preferred; or willingness to become a Registered Professional Engineer when qualified
