Job Title: Automotive Service Technician
Company Overview: Vann York Automotive Group is a reputable organization with over 50 years of experience in the automotive industry. We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles and diagnose problems to ensure quality repair and maintenance work.
- Perform engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning repairs and maintenance.
- Provide accurate labor and time estimates for repairs and services.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop area, including tools and equipment.
Requirements:
- Automotive Service Technician certification.
- Preferred experience in a dealership setting.
- Working knowledge of shop equipment, including wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, and A/C equipment.
- Reliable work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
