Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Donor Database Coordinator to join our Advancement Team at Communities In Schools of Charlotte. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex database applications to support fundraising efforts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of data.
  • Manage data entry and donor records, utilizing Raiser's Edge NXT to track and analyze donor interactions.
  • Serve as a liaison with our CRM platform, providing technical support and training to team members.
  • Collect, monitor, and accurately enter financial donation-related data, ensuring seamless integration with our financial systems.
  • Produce timely and personalized thank you letters, gift acknowledgments, and tax receipts, leveraging our CRM platform.
  • Manage third-party platform gift reconciliation, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of donations.
  • Provide staff training, support, and feedback on data entry and reporting, promoting best practices and data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain queries/exports for direct appeals, email campaigns, and ad hoc projects, utilizing our CRM platform.
  • Update donor wealth screenings and other fundraising-related data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Support team execution of annual campaign efforts, tracking updates and progress in our CRM platform.
  • Lead community giving campaigns, leveraging our CRM platform to engage and mobilize donors.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of database management experience in a nonprofit fundraising or data processing environment.
  • Systems experience with data import/export, queries, and designing and generating reports.
  • Expertise utilizing Raiser's Edge or other donor software, with experience in Raiser's Edge NXT a strong plus.
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience with Google Suite and virtual meeting platforms a plus.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively work independently and within a team framework.
  • Decisive and responsive, with the ability to collaborate with internal colleagues and external donors, partners, and volunteers.
Work Environment

This position is located in the Charlotte Mecklenburg area, with regular and satisfactory attendance and punctuality required. Regular and satisfactory performance, including meeting all process deadlines and stated deliverables, is also required.
