Job Overview: Adjunct faculty members play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education in the field of Music Recording Technology. They are tasked with effectively planning and instructing courses tailored to a diverse student body, utilizing various teaching formats such as in-person, remote, and online sessions. Faculty members may teach up to 12 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters and up to 8 credit hours in the summer, depending on student enrollment and institutional needs. The adjunct faculty position does not guarantee ongoing employment.
Responsibilities: Deliver courses in the specified discipline. Create and update course syllabi and instructional materials. Maintain accurate records, assign grades, and evaluate student performance. Comply with the policies and regulations of the institution. Stay current in the field of expertise. Essential Duties:
In line with the commitment to providing exceptional instruction, faculty members are expected to attend all scheduled classes, submit necessary documentation and reports, teach the designated curriculum using approved materials, and uphold professional ethics as outlined by institutional policies. Required Qualifications:

Skills and Competencies: Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of community college students. Proficiency in using assessment tools to improve student learning outcomes. Experience with effective teaching strategies that foster student achievement. Familiarity with emerging technologies and innovative teaching methods. Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Availability to teach during various times, including days, evenings, weekends, and online. Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in the relevant teaching field or an associate's degree with demonstrated competencies. The degree must be from a regionally accredited institution. A minimum of two years of relevant full-time occupational experience, with part-time experience converted to full-time equivalency. Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Considerations: Professional experience in large format recording studios. Proficiency in industry-standard music software such as Pro Tools, Logic Audio, Ableton, and other audio analysis tools. Capability to teach both introductory and advanced recording courses.
