Marine Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Technician to join our team at Safe Harbor Marinas, LLC. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing boats of all kinds.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and maintain boats to ensure they are seaworthy and in good working condition.
- Diagnose and repair boat engines, hulls, propellers, and navigational equipment using diagnostic equipment.
- Install and test sanitation and refrigeration systems, electrical systems, steering gear, and accessories.
- Troubleshoot and repair vessel systems and components, including electrical, electronics, HVAC, plumbing, and water systems.
- Conduct thorough assessments prior to starting a job, including acknowledging the budgeted time and timeframe for completion, proving the system and element requiring service, and sourcing parts if required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Technical school training preferred.
- 5 years' experience preferred.
- ABYC and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
- Ability to ascend and descend a ladder.
- Must carry own tools.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Basic boat handling skills preferred.
- Experience with both gas and diesel engines preferred.
