Job Description

Bausch+Stroebel is a leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical packaging equipment, and we are seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Packaging Support Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide remote support and troubleshooting for automation systems on pharmaceutical aseptic filling machines and production packaging lines.
  • Perform system administration, including access control, software revision control, backup, and recovery.
  • Analyze malfunctions and troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Work closely with the technical support team in Germany to ensure prompt support for customers.
  • Service visits to customer sites may be required during the training phase.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Jetter, Allen-Bradley).
  • Understanding of PLC-based controllers and functionality.
  • Background as an automation engineer or comparable knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical control system diagrams.
  • Flexibility and contractual commitment to a working time model for technical support.
  • Independent, responsible, and structured.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11, cGAMP, and other regulatory guidance associated with computer/automation-based systems.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience performing automation and controls activities or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding and feedback of Input/Output control sequence.
  • A basic understanding of sequel servers and databases, as well as networking.
