We are seeking a highly experienced Arborist Safety Specialist to join our team at Bartlett Tree Experts. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the skills, performance, and productivity of our trainees and team members.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with local management and arborist representatives to develop and implement a comprehensive office safety program.
- Provide on-site training, mentoring, and supervision of crew members of all skill levels.
- Ensure that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment.
- Conduct regular crew, facility, and pesticide storage audits.
- Develop and implement effective safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address safety concerns.
- Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments.
- Safely perform all aspects of arboriculture, including tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling, and bracing.
- At least five years of experience in the tree care industry.
- Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred).
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct group and individual training or prior crew leader experience.
- Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated.
- ISA Certified Arborist certification is preferred but not required.
