Job Summary

The EHR Application Specialist is responsible for the ongoing design, build, testing, validation, and support of mission-critical applications. This role requires the ability to independently interact with clients and demonstrate superior critical thinking and follow-through skills when developing solutions to identified issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, validate, and support mission-critical applications
  • Independently interact with clients and develop solutions to identified issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, or a related field
  • Minimum four years of experience in healthcare, information technology, or a related field
  • Minimum four years of experience with Epic or other healthcare systems
  • Strong knowledge of clinical or business/revenue cycle workflow in healthcare
  • Ability to read, write legibly, speak in English with professional quality, and use computer software programs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in a minimum of one primary EPIC application
  • Valid Driver's License
