The Department of Justice Division at ManTech is looking for a strategic leader for the Enterprise Data Analysis Section (EDAS) Services Portfolio. This role requires the acquisition of technical knowledge to bolster IT networks, systems, and initiatives. The position is essential for the success of FBI operations and demands specialized technical skills in agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The SAFe approach will be utilized to synchronize Agile teams and deliver capabilities, ensuring effective prioritization of tasks and successful outcomes. Experience with SAFe implementation is critical for modernizing and enhancing the capabilities within the EDAS portfolio.

The Senior Web Application Developer for the Analytics and Visualization of Legal Returns (ANVIL) team will be tasked with maintaining the application that allows FBI personnel to visualize, triage, and review collections from various sources, including user-uploaded legal processes and scrapes of publicly available data. This position necessitates proficiency in .NET, C#, Vue3, TypeScript, Python, Jupyter Notebook, Scala, and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and maintain the web application for analytics and visualization of legal returns (ANVIL).
  • Develop and sustain software components utilizing .NET, C#, Vue3, TypeScript, Python, Jupyter Notebook, Scala, and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
  • Engage in software requirement reviews, preliminary and critical design assessments, integration readiness evaluations, and software acceptance reviews.
  • Serve as a technical lead for proposals and ongoing program efforts.
  • Support the program management office in a technical capacity, including briefing clients on organizational capabilities.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for clients on contracts or projects.
  • Interact with senior client personnel on significant technical issues, often necessitating coordinated efforts across organizational boundaries.
  • Provide technical mentorship and support to junior software engineers.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices in web application development and data analytics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of seven to nine years of experience in web application development or similar roles.
  • Strong expertise in .NET, C#, Vue3, TypeScript, Python, Jupyter Notebook, Scala, and Databricks.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining software components using the specified technologies.
  • Experience in analytics and visualization of extensive datasets.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a knack for designing and implementing effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and emerging trends in web application development and data analytics.
  • Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in web development or related fields are highly advantageous.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess a current/active Top Secret clearance.

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $99,200-$164,600. Various factors can influence the final salary/hourly rate, including Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align with the specified role, geographic location (for remote opportunities), education, and certifications, as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. Additionally, ManTech invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
