The Department of Justice Division at ManTech is in search of a strategic leader for the Enterprise Data Analysis Section (EDAS) Services Portfolio. This role necessitates acquiring technical proficiency to support IT networks, systems, and initiatives. The position is essential for the success of critical missions and demands specialized technical knowledge in agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The SAFe approach will be employed to synchronize Agile teams and deliver capabilities, ensuring effective prioritization of tasks and successful outcomes. Experience with SAFe implementation is crucial for modernizing and enhancing capabilities within the EDAS portfolio.

The Senior Web Application Developer for the Analytics and Visualization of Legal Returns (ANVIL) team is tasked with maintaining the application that allows users to visualize, triage, and assess collections from various sources, including user-uploaded legal processes and publicly available information. This position requires expertise in .NET, C#, Vue3, TypeScript, Python, Jupyter Notebook, Scala, and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance the web application for analytics and visualization of legal returns (ANVIL).
  • Develop and sustain software components utilizing .NET, C#, Vue3, TypeScript, Python, Jupyter Notebook, Scala, and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
  • Engage in software requirement reviews, preliminary and critical design assessments, integration readiness evaluations, and software acceptance reviews.
  • Serve as a technical lead for pre-proposal, proposal, and ongoing program efforts.
  • Support the program management office in a technical capacity, including briefing clients on organizational capabilities.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for customers on contracts or projects.
  • Interact with senior client personnel on significant technical issues, often necessitating coordinated efforts across organizational boundaries.
  • Provide technical mentorship and support to junior software engineers.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices in web application development and data analytics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of seven to nine years of experience in web application development or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in .NET, C#, Vue3, TypeScript, Python, Jupyter Notebook, Scala, and Databricks.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining software components using the aforementioned technologies.
  • Experience in analytics and visualization of large datasets.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and emerging trends in web application development and data analytics.
  • Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in web development or related fields are highly desirable.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess a current/active Top Secret clearance.

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,200-$164,600. Various factors can influence the final salary/hourly rate, including Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies aligned with the specified role, geographic location, education, and certifications, as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. Additionally, ManTech invests in its employees beyond mere compensation.
