Job Title: Disability Support Coordinator

At Goodwill Southeast Georgia, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Disability Support Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Vocational Rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities achieve their employment goals and reach their full potential.

Job Summary:

The Disability Support Coordinator will provide transformational coaching and case management services to employees with disabilities, helping them to develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workforce. This role requires a strong understanding of disability employment laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized coaching and case management services to employees with disabilities, focusing on job readiness, education, and training needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized employment evaluation (IEE) plans, setting clear goals and objectives for employees.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including managers and Human Resources, to ensure a positive systemic impact is achieved through the Employee Development Program.
  • Partner with Training Specialists to develop and implement training programs that teach and reinforce hard and soft employability skills.
  • Accurately complete and submit timely evaluations and progress reports, based on employee development goals.
  • Represent Goodwill Southeast Georgia's culture through learning and development, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a closely related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in case management, workforce development, coaching/mentoring, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license, personal auto insurance, and independent transportation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning and communication styles, ensuring equal access to information.
  • Team player with a passion for helping others reach their highest level of self-sufficiency.
