Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive support for our clients' desktop and laptop environments. This role involves the imaging, deployment, and technical assistance for both in-house and remote users. The ideal candidate will ensure that all configurations align with established IT policies while managing data backup and hardware issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup and configuration of desktop applications, ensuring compliance with IT standards.
  • Provide on-site technical support for end users within designated areas.
  • Diagnose and resolve workstation and peripheral issues both remotely and in person.
  • Maintain the functionality of end-user applications and equipment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Install and support critical network devices to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Conduct end-user data backup and recovery with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Manage surplus equipment in accordance with established protocols, including proper sanitization and disk wiping to DoD standards.
  • Document and track problem tickets, escalating issues to appropriate teams as necessary.
  • Collaborate with vendor support to troubleshoot technical problems related to desktop hardware and software.
  • Assist with special projects, including the setup, breakdown, and relocation of computer equipment and peripherals.
