Clinical Nurse Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for providing high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will assist practitioners with patient care, physical examinations, ancillary tests, and perform various administrative duties. With a focus on customer service and attention to detail, this role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examination and treatment
• Assist practitioners with patient care, including drawing blood and preparing laboratory samples
• Maintain exam rooms, lab areas, and treatment rooms clean and stocked, ensuring adequate inventory of supplies
• Perform front office clerical duties, such as answering phones, checking patients in and out, and processing records
• Dispense medications as directed by practitioners and in accordance with state regulations
• Maintain and operate clinical equipment, including calibration and record-keeping in accordance with current policies and procedures
• Perform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director (PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws) in accordance with established policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university or Graduate of an accredited Registered nursing program
• Current registration/license in the state where employed
• Successful completion of UDS, BAT, PFT, FIT, certification
• Customarily at least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational health nursing or related field
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
