Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinical Specialist to join our team at Carolina Outreach. As an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) nurse, you will play a vital role in providing clinical services to clients receiving our ACT team services.

Your primary responsibility will be to monitor the medical and clinical aspects of services delivered, identifying evidence-based therapies to be employed by staff and consulting with primary healthcare providers on clinical aspects of clients being served.

You will work closely with our medical staff to coordinate care and assist in planning, scheduling, and implementing services for clients.

In this role, you will also provide written documentation as required and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

About the Role:
  • Monitor all medical/clinical aspects of services delivered
  • Identify evidence-based therapies to be employed by staff
  • Consult with primary healthcare providers on clinical aspects of clients being served
  • Coordinate with medical staff of other providers
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and implementing services for clients
  • Provide written documentation as required
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in North Carolina
  • DMH-approved ACTT training certification
  • NVCI certification
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
