Clinical Addiction Specialist

Lincoln Community Health Center seeks a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients struggling with substance use disorders.
Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced clinical professional who can deliver initial assessments, diagnoses, and treatment services to adult patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, and a thorough understanding of psychosocial, psychological, behavioral, and psychiatric disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide initial assessment, diagnosis, and evaluation services for adult patients.
- Deliver treatment services for adult patients with substance use disorders.
- Consult, screen, and refer adolescents and children as needed.
- Assist in planning, developing, and implementing health promotion and disease prevention programs and therapeutic services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's Degree in Social Work or a related human services field.
- Licensure as a Clinical Addictions Specialist or a Provisional license as required by the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board.
- A minimum of three years of experience post-Masters in a human services field as a clinical addictions specialist in a health or mental health setting.
