Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate diagnoses and clinically monitor and manage oncology, hematology, and genetics patients
  • Provide advanced assessment skills and knowledge of clinical therapeutics
  • Participate in chemotherapy teaching, bone marrow biopsies, and cancer surveillance
  • Demonstrate expertise in providing clinical care and counseling to individuals concerned about medical oncology and hematologic related diseases
  • Collaborate with hematology/oncology physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics
