About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems that meet client requirements and ensure system reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement control systems using Rockwell and Siemens software, adhering to best practices and safety standards.
  • Lead the start-up of control systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful project completion.
  • Conduct system commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization to enhance system performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, manuals, and user guides.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure optimal system use.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure innovative and efficient system design and implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering, specifically with start-up and commissioning of control systems.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, specifically with Rockwell and Siemens platforms.
  • Strong understanding of control system design and implementation, including hardware and software components.
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to client sites for system start-up and commissioning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure high-quality system design and implementation.
  • Current knowledge of industry trends and advancements in control systems technology.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions based on sound engineering principles.
