About Our Hospital
Duke University Hospital is the largest of Duke Health's three hospitals and features 1048 patient beds, 65 operating rooms, as well as comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic facilities, including a regional emergency/trauma center, an endo-surgery center, and more.

Job Description
This is a dynamic opportunity to join our team as a Therapy Aide As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will play a vital role in assisting physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists with departmental operating procedures and patient treatment. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing patient and treatment areas for care, aiding therapists with patient care under direct and/or indirect supervision, transporting patients to proper locations using necessary safety precautions, and assisting with scheduling and inventory management. This is an excellent chance to work collaboratively with peers to contribute to the overall productivity of the team and support cross-coverage efforts in the department/division.

Required Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of an on-the-job training period, rendering competency in performance of required duties after a specified period of time. Relevant experience in rehabilitative services or a related field is preferred. Additionally, CLS certification is required within the first three months of employment.
