**Job Overview**
As an MRI Specialist at Duke Health, you will play a crucial role in our team by performing complex tasks associated with the operation of high field strength magnets. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Screening patients for MR safety prior to procedure performance
- Assisting radiologists with procedure protocoling and performance
- Loading and operating power injectors for contrast media administration
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Providing orientation for new technologists
- Providing education and training for student technologists
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree or completion of a program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification
- Level I: ARRT or ARMRIT certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) within 18 months of employment
- Level II: Minimum of two years' experience as an MRI technologist
- Level III: A minimum of 4 years' experience within specialty modality in which they are seeking promotion
**Benefits**
Duke Health offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
