Job Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Civil Engineer / Team Leader to join our Engineering and Remediation Practice in Greenville, South Carolina. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of technically challenging projects, including environmental remediation, storm water, wastewater, solid waste, and general civil engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Civil Engineering Group and oversee project management, budgeting, and client relations.
  • Design stormwater management systems, renewable energy systems, and solid waste management systems.
  • Prepare proposals and estimates for various projects.
  • Manage projects, including budgets, schedules, and client relations.
  • Develop permit-level site plans, stormwater management design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs), and stormwater drainage reports.
  • Develop construction documents (drawings, specifications, and cost estimates) and provide bid assistance.
  • Complete engineering calculations, including storm and sanitary sewer design.
  • Conduct regulatory research and determine applicability to projects.
  • Oversee field work activities, including planning, work development, and coordination with subcontractors and clients.
  • May be responsible for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Construction CQA and oversight.
  • Interpret data, conduct analyses, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate with clients and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare summary reports, technical memoranda, and email correspondence.
  • Serve as Engineer of Record for projects.
  • Implement TRC's safety, quality, and project management programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
  • 10+ years of engineering consulting and construction experience.
  • Experience with storm water calculations, design, and permitting.
  • Experience with AutoCad Civil 3D, grading, and surfaces.
  • Experience with civil site planning.
  • Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS and Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling packages.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • OSHA 40 hr. HAZWOPER certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and OSHA physical.

Compensation

Salary range: $112,000 - $125,000 per year. Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program.
