Typical Responsibilities:
The Property Preservation Associate II is tasked with conducting timely and precise evaluations of property conditions, maintenance, and repair estimates to ensure properties are conveyed promptly while minimizing associated cost risks.

The Property Preservation Associate II will:

  • Manage a portfolio of FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional loans, overseeing property preservation efforts.
  • Examine repair estimates, assess line item insurance claims, review photographic documentation of damage, and make informed decisions regarding costs, necessary repairs, and work requirements.
  • Negotiate repair costs with vendors to optimize company expenditures.
  • Address City Code Violations, Receiverships, Condemnation Orders, and Demolition Orders in accordance with property preservation standards.
  • Analyze various reports to ensure adherence to established property preservation guidelines.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
  • Exhibit behaviors that align with the organization's desired culture and values.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and G-Suite applications.
  • Basic knowledge of home repairs, including roofing, windows, HVAC systems, drywall, basements, garages, framing, and plumbing.
  • Experience in mortgage servicing, construction, or as an insurance adjuster is advantageous.

Individual salaries may vary based on multiple factors, including specific roles, geographic location, market data, and skills and experience. Salary ranges are as follows:

  • Lower range - Developing skills and experience in the role.
  • Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role.
  • Higher range - Experience and skills provide added value beyond typical role requirements.
