Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled mobile engineer to collaborate across various teams, including product management, engineering, and design. This role is pivotal in developing the mobile application that serves as the backbone of our intelligent personal training system. You will tackle complex challenges associated with software development for a unique consumer fitness platform. You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and are committed to delivering high-quality, maintainable software.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the development of intricate features utilizing Flutter and native iOS/Android technologies.
- Engage in design and planning sessions, participating in scrum ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of product milestones.
- Foster a quality-centric engineering culture that prioritizes rapid and confident product releases.
- Address cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute innovative ideas to enhance software architecture and best practices.
- Coordinate with both onshore and offshore teams to optimize development and testing processes.
- Diagnose and resolve customer issues, conducting root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Candidate Profile
- 3-5 years of experience in software development.
- Proficient in Dart, Swift, and/or Kotlin, with experience in backend service integration.
- Strong grasp of mobile application architecture and design principles.
- Familiarity with data analytics and logging tools such as Sentry, Amplitude, or OpenSearch.
- Knowledge of source control management, build processes, and CI/CD workflows.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for both code quality and UI/UX, employing a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Effective communicator, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Apple Health and/or Google Health Connect.
- Understanding of media processing and video streaming technologies.
- Passion for the fitness industry.
