Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Software Engineering to join our team in San Francisco, CA. Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of software products, including planning, directing, and coordinating activities in software engineering.
- Analyze and improve software performance, using industry-standard tools for measuring and visualizing different components of site performance.
- Work closely with developers to understand our architecture and gather requirements from management and product owners.
- Ensure visibility necessary to identify potential areas of performance improvement and triage problems when they occur in one of our global production data centers.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- Two years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Java development, SQL database tuning, shell scripting, JUnit, distributed operating systems, and performance benchmarking on mobile applications.
