We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mobile applications that help patients manage their diabetes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in developing and maintaining complex mobile applications. You will be working closely with our system and software architects to interpret, analyze, and implement software requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining complex mobile applications (iOS or Android)
  • Collaborating with system and software architects to interpret, analyze, and implement software requirements
  • Providing constructive feedback to improve other's designs and implementation
  • Designing, developing, testing, debugging, and unit testing mobile apps, components, and tools independently
  • Developing in Android Studio or Xcode
  • Expertise in one of the following languages: Dart, Java, Kotlin, C/C++, Objective-C, Swift
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of database operations on mobile devices
  • Knowledge of integrating with REST/SOAP-based APIs

Requirements include:

  • 2 years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Sciences
  • Or, advanced degree with 0+ years of experience
