Headlands is in search of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support our substance treatment program. We are currently offering 2 FULL TIME positions with the following details:

  • ON-SITE ONLY
  • POSITION 1: 4 DAY WORKWEEK, 8AM - 4PM M-Th
  • POSITION 2: 3 DAY WORKWEEK, 8AM - 6PM F-SUN
  • FULL TIME with Benefits
  • RETENTION BONUS
  • Optional additional per-diem coverage opportunities for extra income available
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • No on-call duties required
  • Clinical responsibilities include managing new admissions and conducting follow-up assessments at a reputable addiction treatment center.
  • Ongoing supervision, education, and support provided by addiction specialist MDs and psychiatrists.
  • Productivity incentive plan with potential for additional earnings.

This role is suited for a mid-level provider comfortable with managing mental health conditions and low complexity primary care issues. The ideal candidate will possess confidence in their clinical abilities, work autonomously, and be open to regular on-site responsibilities.

Given the nature of our healthcare services, excellent interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, and adaptability are essential for success in this position.

Successful candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Current NP or PA license in Texas
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and workflows independently.
  • Proficiency in EMR software and electronic communication.

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Experience in addiction treatment, including withdrawal management.
  • Familiarity with medication-assisted treatment protocols such as buprenorphine and naltrexone.
  • Significant experience in treating psychiatric conditions as a PMHNP or PA/NP.
