Headlands is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with our substance treatment program contracts in Bastrop, Texas. We are currently hiring for 2 FULL TIME positions involving the following:

• ON-SITE ONLY
• POSITION 1: 4 DAY WORKWEEK, 8AM - 4PM M-Th
• POSITION 2: 3 DAY WORKWEEK, 8AM - 6PM F-SUN
• FULL TIME with Benefits

• No call requirement
• Clinical work involves new admissions and follow-up assessments at an established and well-regarded addiction treatment center
• Ongoing supervision/education and support provided by addiction specialist MDs and psychiatrists.
• Productivity incentive plan with opportunities to earn additional income

This is a position for a mid-level provider who is comfortable managing mental health conditions and low complexity primary care issues. The position is a good fit for someone who is confident in their clinical skills, can work autonomously and independently and is agreeable to regular ON-SITE duties at the treatment program location in Bastrop, TX.

Related to the healthcare area we serve, excellent interpersonal skills, customer service, and flexibility are necessary attributes for success in this position.

Successful Candidate MUST have the following:

• Current NP or PA license in the state of Texas
• Efficient in multi-tasking and managing workflow. Experienced and able to work autonomously.
• Proficiency with EMR software and electronic communication.

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

• Experience in addiction treatment including withdrawal management
• Experience with medication assisted treatment protocols including buprenorphine and naltrexone.
• PMHNP or PA/NP with significant experience in treating psychiatric conditions.
