We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support our substance treatment program contracts. We are hiring for two full-time positions that involve:
- ON-SITE ONLY
- POSITION 1: 4 DAY WORKWEEK, 8AM - 4PM M-Th
- POSITION 2: 3 DAY WORKWEEK, 8AM - 6PM F-SUN
- FULL TIME with Benefits
- RETENTION BONUS
- Optional additional per-diem coverage opportunities available
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- No on-call requirements
- Clinical responsibilities include managing new admissions and conducting follow-up assessments at a reputable addiction treatment center.
- Ongoing supervision, education, and support provided by addiction specialist MDs and psychiatrists.
- Productivity incentive plan with potential for additional earnings.
This role is ideal for a mid-level provider who is adept at managing mental health conditions and low complexity primary care issues. The position suits someone confident in their clinical abilities, capable of working autonomously, and willing to fulfill regular on-site duties.
Given the nature of the healthcare services we provide, strong interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, and adaptability are essential for success in this role.
Required Qualifications:
- Current NP or PA license in the state of Texas.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and workflows, with experience working independently.
- Proficiency in EMR software and electronic communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in addiction treatment, including withdrawal management.
- Familiarity with medication-assisted treatment protocols, including buprenorphine and naltrexone.
- PMHNP or PA/NP with substantial experience in treating psychiatric conditions.
