Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Kubota. This is a mid-level maintenance position that requires the ability to safely plan and perform all operations necessary to modify, repair, and maintain complicated machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely and Independently Maintain Equipment: Adjust, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, including some basic electrical system repairs.
  • Conveyor and Process Maintenance: Utilize support to maintain conveyors, paint systems, and chemical processes.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Maintain, perform, and report on preventative maintenance on all plant support equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Utilize drawings, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams to evaluate, make recommendations, and resolve problems.
  • Technical Communication: Interpret and apply technical instructions, communicate technical issues to others, and evaluate responses in a group setting.
  • Equipment Installation: Conduct equipment installation (air, gas, rigging) under the support and direction of experienced technicians.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a 5S compliant work area.
  • Certifications and Compliance: Certify and maintain certifications to use powered industrial vehicles and overhead cranes, and understand and comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
  • Special Projects: Perform special projects as requested and related tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Successful completion of the Kubota apprenticeship program or HS Diploma/GED plus 2-5 years of maintenance manufacturing experience.
  • Language Competency: English language competency required.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
  • Reading and Certification: Ability to read drawings, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams, and certify and maintain valid certification on all powered industrial vehicles and overhead crane operations for the facility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: 2 Year degree in Maintenance Technology preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of demonstrated maintenance experience in a similar environment preferred.
  • Electrical Systems: Basic understanding of electrical systems including relays, motors, and switches.
  • Powered Industrial Truck and Overhead Crane Experience: Previous powered industrial truck and overhead crane experience.

In addition, the team member must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
