Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Perform technical and mechanical work to diagnose and repair issues with buildings, equipment, and systems.
  • Facilities Management: Ensure the maintenance of our properties, including routine upkeep, repairs, and replacements of equipment and systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents and colleagues, responding to requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Comply with safety and risk-management policies, attending regular safety meetings and completing required training.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document and report maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory management, and quality control.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.
  • Certifications: EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling, as well as all certifications required by state and local jurisdictions.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 50 pounds independently and 150 pounds with assistance.
