We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Silgan Containers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Respond to breakdowns promptly and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions.
  • Document standard work and best practices, maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, and prepare reports on maintenance performance.
  • Work in partnership with production and management team members to identify and address equipment issues and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree from a technical trade school or a High School diploma or GED.
  • 5 years or more years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision within a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and machine operating equipment and systems.
  • Ability to operate in a lean manufacturing environment utilizing 5S and other continuous improvement tools.
