$125,000 - $175,000 per year based on experience and location.

Job Description

We are seeking skilled professionals to work directly with patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities. As a Geriatric Mental Health Specialist, you will provide face-to-face psychiatric services, assessing patient mental status and developing treatment plans.

  • Provide psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
  • Assess patient mental status based on symptoms.
  • Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
  • Apply medical decision-making skills for mental health issues.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists to ensure high-quality care.
Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Licenses in Washington as a PMHNP or FNP with a focus on psychiatry.
  • Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy to prescribe controlled substances.
  • Possession of malpractice insurance if independent contractor.
  • 1 year of geriatric psych experience (preferred).
