Job DescriptionWe are seeking skilled professionals to work directly with patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities. As a Geriatric Mental Health Specialist, you will provide face-to-face psychiatric services, assessing patient mental status and developing treatment plans.
- Provide psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- Assess patient mental status based on symptoms.
- Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
- Apply medical decision-making skills for mental health issues.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists to ensure high-quality care.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Licenses in Washington as a PMHNP or FNP with a focus on psychiatry.
- Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy to prescribe controlled substances.
- Possession of malpractice insurance if independent contractor.
- 1 year of geriatric psych experience (preferred).

- Experience with EMR/EHR systems (Athena I, a plus).
