Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in project planning, construction, and close-out activities in accordance with project specifications.
- Support the development of project plans and schedules to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution.
- Monitor project performance, including cost, schedule, scope changes, safety, and quality.
- Organize project folders and maintain comprehensive project files throughout all phases.
- Input estimates and conduct production reviews using various software systems.
- Facilitate new job activation processes within company software.
- Coordinate with accounts receivable to ensure accurate billing and payment.
- Prepare routine reports and assist in the preparation of complex documentation.
- Review field reports and provide summaries to project management as needed.
- Assist in proposal preparation and vendor coordination for submittals.
- Track and manage permit statuses and as-built documentation.
- Participate in customer scheduling and job coordination calls.
- Support project managers in maintaining quality control and compliance with contract documents.
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
- Assist in job close-out processes and may help identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction or project management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- High School diploma required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Authorization to work in the US without restrictions.
Compensation:
The wage for this position is $45.38/hour.
