About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Marketing Leader to join our team as Director of Strategic Account Management and Media. This is a senior-level position that will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing plans, manage primary and secondary research efforts, and facilitate discussions with creative teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage market research to identify marketing opportunities driven by consumer behavior insights
  • Develop compelling advertising concepts and materials in collaboration with creative teams
  • Write strategic and inspiring creative briefs informed by research and audience insights
  • Consult with internal and external university partners to elevate brand awareness and perceptions
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the account management team to achieve university objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum eight years of experience in strategic planning, account management, and client services roles within an advertising agency and/or client-side marketing department
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to various audiences
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and campaign optimization
